Atomic Solstice Co. was born from my love of mid-century aesthetics and mystical folklore. I wanted to blend these two themes to create work that makes them co-dependent; and brings them to life together. When choosing a name to represent my art, I knew I wanted it to reflect both sides. Atomic is an ode to the Space-Age (and obviously, atomic-era), vintage & retro, mixed with traditional Western Americana, while Solstice feels like a tribute to the side of ancestral witches, oddities, curiosities, and spiritual awakenings.

Everything you see here is reflective of me in some way. I put an incredible amount of time, thought, and effort into every piece. My attention to detail is meticulous (sometimes to a fault), but I take pride in my creative awareness. I draw inspiration not only from my love of the aforementioned themes, but also from the things I see, hear, and experience around me. Music, photography, and pop culture influence nearly everything I do. When I’m creating a personal piece, it’s either inspired by a show I’ve watched or based on a lyric I’m visualizing.

My work has appeared in posters, website graphics, logos and branding, product design, packaging, apparel lines, and album covers.

Sometimes it truly feels surreal to think of myself as a professional artist. I believe other artists can relate to that feeling — of ‘this is really my job?’ But when someone values your art enough to choose it — to buy it or hire you — it changes your life and perspective. It makes you feel vital and appreciated in a way that is incomparable to anything else.
